CARWASH | EUROFEST

After a decent night out in the city, we woke up mega hungover and tired as... We all checked out of the hotel to head to a carwash that happened to get lost trying to find.

The cars got a well deserved bath one by one!

Time to make our way to eurofest, and show how us QLDers do it.

If you attended eurofest.... we were pretty late... (haha) Well we got lost again trying to find the location.... Damn Sydney!

RANDOM PISS STOP | EUROFEST

The Sk Crew are back from the Xmas break!

So its time to continue on with our Sydney trip coverage.

We arrived in Sydney and started on route through the dreaded big city traffic to our first stop at Zen Garage.... We broke up in traffic and then all pulled up at a random street to re-group, take a piss and stretch the legs.

Alex took the chance to have a look over his car!

SECRETMEET | SECOND EDITION | PART ONE

Due to epic slack and a massive back-log of photos due to so many events lately, and also working on the cars. I have finally finished this post ha-ha!

So here is PART ONE of our second Secret Meet!

Day started out well... I was doing some finishing touches to the wagon at the Shed while a heap of bro's started rocking up... was all smiles at this stage!

Alex's Mk5 sitting on point with his brand new XD9s (which are now for sale). Have a full feature coming up on this next week!

Jackson came down for Toowoomba in his RX3, during the journey down his dump pipe cracked nearly all the way through. Running a little late for the meet, we ended up hitting the road about 3pm... to only get around the corner to see that Jayrad had been pulled over by the police. We found out later he copped a fine for being too low. 

 We all quickly turned around and headed back to the Shed.....

WAGON CONCEPT

Been thinking of ideas to give my wagon a new look... it has been the same for some time now and I think it just needs a facelift.

This is a concept of what I have had in my head for the last 5 months!

CLASSIC BRICK STATUS

Today I have something a little close to my heart to show you all,

it's a good friend and house mate Josh's Volvo 264.

Josh is only new to the Volvo game with this one being his 2nd brick, he is starting off in a very good way... some may remember his beige 240 that I had posted last year sometime... but he now has stepped his game up in a massive way! 

Josh had no intention on upgrading the beige one, but getting his open license made him want to get into something he couldn't previous drive on his provisional... we were throwing up engine swaps but with his budget it was just working out to expensive.

Then lucky he come across this immaculate 264 fitted with a full rebuilt rover v8 on eBay... in under a week the car was sitting in our driveway!

Thanks to the boys at On-Road it is now fitted with a 2 and quarter twin exhaust.. the sound off this rolling down the street makes necks snap from every direction.

It has all the classic Volvo features like headlight wipers, power windows, manual winding sunroof and every other option Volvo had in the 80s. The exterior is factory silver bottom with the top half resprayed in jet black, makes this 2 tone Volvo stand out from the rest.

The car has been dropped on those 19x8 and 19x9 black centered wheels thanks to the custom K Mac and king springs also with shortened shocks fitted all round.

This car is amazing.. from the spotless exterior to the perfect factory tan leather trim!

Well I hope you enjoy these photos... I know I enjoy looking at it every day!
