SUNDAY LUNCH

Last Sunday, due to crap weather we had to postpone our Secret Meet, so instead of doing nothing we headed out to a steak and seafood restaurant for a Sunday feed!

Chicken..................... hahahaha

Food was pretty damn decent, was so big that most people didn't finish their meals... and apart from the food many laughs were had.. and was good catching up with everybody!

Jayrads GS as you would have seen in the post we did about it.

Josh attended with his V8 Volvo 264... always great to see this thing out and about... due to some problems it hasn't been out as much as it should lately!

Cobey had his G35 out and about.. another car that hasn't been getting around for a while, and I have to say its good to see it on the road again... Cobey has some cool plans for this and then I believe its going to be up for sale!

CLASSIC BRICK STATUS

Today I have something a little close to my heart to show you all,

it's a good friend and house mate Josh's Volvo 264.

Josh is only new to the Volvo game with this one being his 2nd brick, he is starting off in a very good way... some may remember his beige 240 that I had posted last year sometime... but he now has stepped his game up in a massive way! 

Josh had no intention on upgrading the beige one, but getting his open license made him want to get into something he couldn't previous drive on his provisional... we were throwing up engine swaps but with his budget it was just working out to expensive.

Then lucky he come across this immaculate 264 fitted with a full rebuilt rover v8 on eBay... in under a week the car was sitting in our driveway!

Thanks to the boys at On-Road it is now fitted with a 2 and quarter twin exhaust.. the sound off this rolling down the street makes necks snap from every direction.

It has all the classic Volvo features like headlight wipers, power windows, manual winding sunroof and every other option Volvo had in the 80s. The exterior is factory silver bottom with the top half resprayed in jet black, makes this 2 tone Volvo stand out from the rest.

The car has been dropped on those 19x8 and 19x9 black centered wheels thanks to the custom K Mac and king springs also with shortened shocks fitted all round.

This car is amazing.. from the spotless exterior to the perfect factory tan leather trim!

Quick snap for a friday arvo of Josh's 240 that had taken last weekend.

Hello Hello.. I have been meaning to post up my mate Josh's 240, for a while now... so here it is!!

When Josh asked me to find him a 240, I was stoked at the idea.. this was coming from someone that was not a fan at all, only a couple of months before!! (haha)

So I started looking around and I found this mint, 4 Speed 240 for a bargain price.. It was in our front yard by that night!

This photo would have to by my favourite of it.. Josh and my self went out for a drive on a public holiday to the lovely Tallebudgera valley, and this shot just sums up how lovely it is out there!!

Wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 fitted with 25mm Stud adapters changing it from 5x108 to 5x114.3

and I really love this shot, of both josh and my wagon!!

oh and the Streetkarnage sticker on the front window is full of win!! :)

The 240 is lowered on a set of K-Mac Springs that I had in the garage, with a little trimmed of them (haha)

In this photo you can really see how big the wheels are on this thing..

I really love this.. the Stance, the height, and the colour of the car and wheels all just work perfectly!!
