RANDOM PISS STOP | EUROFEST

The Sk Crew are back from the Xmas break!

So its time to continue on with our Sydney trip coverage.

We arrived in Sydney and started on route through the dreaded big city traffic to our first stop at Zen Garage.... We broke up in traffic and then all pulled up at a random street to re-group, take a piss and stretch the legs.

Alex took the chance to have a look over his car!

ROAD TRIP TO SYDNEY | EUROFEST | PART THREE

From where I left it last ... It was something like sun coming up, crazy, break time! haha

Well the sun was up and poking through the trees... this meant, time for some more rolling shots!

Aaron was hanging out the window most of trip, getting some great shots!

2 of Australia's best BMWs rolling together, and would have to be my favourite shot of the trip!

 Nelson's e46 looking amazing rollin' in the morning sun... really a sight I will never forget! Also this shows that the bloody legend rolled at that height all the way from the Gold Coast to Sydney... YES!

Alex's mk5 looked amazing rolling slammed!

That's it for the trip down haha, long trip but we had made it to the city. And luckily with no problems!! haha

ROAD TRIP TO SYDNEY | EUROFEST | PART TWO

From where I left you on the last post, I mentioned that we had started seeing day light for the first time of the trip... and all that this meant to me was, rolling shots!!

First time in the light seeing Jackson's new e36 that he had just finished building the day we left.... As you can see its amazing, slammed hard and finished perfectly.

We had been driving solidly for a few more hours and most of us are getting pretty crazy at this time. Not sure what it is but the lack of sleep and the sight of sunrise makes everybody go a bit crazy in the cars!

So it was time for a break to stretch the legs, and to check our cars... 

...at this time my rear bushes in the wagon had completely flogged out and the diff was making some serious clunking sounds! 

Jackson had a sweet idea and was warming his hands up with the exhaust.

Ty from FORGE wheels made the trip with us in his awesome bagged Audi wagon... we actually convinced him to come the night we left!

I have to say... mega awesome effort to randomly just back his bag and head to Sydney on a road trip... LEGEND! 

After some fireworks, skids and a good stretch of the legs... we were back on the road heading towards our destination!

ROAD TRIP TO SYDNEY | EUROFEST | PART ONE

As you would have seen on the Facebook page... we headed down to Sydney for the 3rd time to attend All Stars Eurofest. And also to check out Zen Garage and have a night on the town, as it was my birthday on the Saturday we got to Sydney.

This is a trip we hate during, love after, but say we will never do it again haha. But as I said this is our 3rd time taking the drive down.... the trips always have their ups and downs but I'm sure we will be making the trip down again!!

After a bit of a wait, with a mate bailing out and then Jackson waiting at the wrong servo for us. haha

We hit the road for the trip...

Coffs Harbour, meant another break time!

Pulled into a servo and had a break... good to stretch the legs after driving for a solid amount of time.

For me this stoping point was great.... if you remember our last trip down where my wagon sits, in beaten but running condition is where my BMW sat with a broken fuel tank hahaha

As you can see, I was excited about getting this far with out any problems!

A Couple of final checks on the cars and it was back on the road....

More and more driving... driving at night it gets very boring and urghhh

Tiring hahaha at some stage of the night we tried to get some shut eye at a servo... this didn't work to well.

We gave up on the sleep idea and hit the road again.

.....this is where I will leave you for this post.... sun started rising and we are past half way to Sydney!

The next stint of the trip makes for a perfect photo opportunity with the sun rising and cold weather that the early morning brings, it really does set for a perfect backing to the cars!
