QLD MATSURI 2012 | PART ONE

As most of you know, we've been flat out getting cars ready for QLD Matsuri last weekend.

Cutting it real close, as the Wagon was only finished Saturday morning!

I didn't get much opportunity to take photo's, but I managed to get a few. Enjoy!

 With a 7am Start, it was bound to be a long day.

 Ever get that feeling your being watched?

 With so many track hours at hand, everyone was staying cool and casual.

Stadium Drift | QR

Got the chance to get the weekend off and head to QR with the JDM/GC Crew! Arriving at 7am at Coomera BP to depart at 7.30 am. The cruise to QR began. 

After driving through the front gates at QR (Queensland Raceway) we were greeted with the smell of rubber.

Nothing beats a day filled with drifting, imports, and other track events.

Daniel Buchner rocking out the 33. I love the style of this thing, by far the best paint on a drift car I have seen!

Levi Clarke getting the Soarer sideways!

Plenty of pit stops were needed for changing over tyres.

 

Dylan Anderson from NizzPro in the 33.4, unfortunately the car was T-boned later in the day, but thankfully nothing major.

DRIFT!

People who entered the show and shine were allowed to have a cruise session on the track, which quite quickly changed into a sprint session haha.

Will kicking it in the Legnum ready to go on track!

11TH OF MAY NIGHT SESSION - PART ONE

On Friday we headed out to QR for another Friday night session at Queensland Raceway.. these nights are great to get out there and have decent amount of runs... well if your car lasts.

I believe this is LS1 power.

Troy still having problems with the 180sx... he didn't even get to go out.

 Glenny's supermade 180sx... driving and looking good as per usual... even though he is rocking some damage, the car looks amazing.

 Josh Dobrik was out again in his miata, having a go on the skid pan.... after watching him most Friday nights, I can't wait to have a go on this when I have the wagon out.

Macey had his killer S14 out.

 This s14.5 was epic.. RB26 powered and rocking Model 5s

Harris had a pretty good night with the 15, with only getting a boost problem that made him pull in a few times.
