This 1998 Volvo S70 is not your average grocery getter. Matt Philips of Orlando, Florida, has made a strong effort to make his Volvo stand out, and I can easily say he has succeeded. He has been in the Volvo scene with this car for as long as I have known him. In all 6 years I have watched this car little by little come together into a beautiful peice of machinary.
The car is stanced on a full air-bag suspension system, custom peiced together from BagRiders due to the fact that no one produces an air setup for Volvos. It has been fitted on refinished 17x8 BMW BBS Style 5s, with Porsche metallic brown centers and gold hardware. They have been redrilled to Volvo 5x108 bolt pattern, so NO, he is NOT running adapters!
This S70 is easily one of the most aggressive looking Volvos in the US. Not only from the fitment, but by also the wind-splitter lip attached to the V70 R front bumper, C70 eggcrate grille, black housing headlights with reflectorless corners, and the very stylish argyle vinyled fender.
This is one Volvo that would be a head turner no matter where you go. When it comes to class, the nail has been hit right on the head.
