THAT CALSONIC R32 // SEAN'S SEDAN

Sean hit me up a fair few months ago about an idea he had and asked if I could try make it work on photoshop... his plan was a sedan version of the calsonic r32 and slammed on SSR mk1s. I loved the idea, it was something I had never seen done before, so I happily had a crack for him!!

This is what I come up with for him.

Usually when I do photoshops for people (I do a shit load) its just a dream or an idea they think might work... and over 50% of the time it never actually gets done.... but this time Sean put the gears in motion and started getting cracking on this concept!

aaaaaand as you see the photoshop is super damn close to the car you see today, yes minus a few things... see when someone asks me to do a photoshop I usually go with what I think looks better and in this case it was GTR fronted.

But to tell you the truth I think he went the right way with this one, it looks better without the GTR gear.

But I would like to add he is getting a GTR wing for the back of this, I do think that will finish it off very nicely!

Body wise it has been kept simple and well planned!

full smurf blue respray and the Calsonic Livery by Koolstik Signs.

ohhhh and those amazing star indicators!!

Still rocking the rb20 but with a heap off goodies including, ACL race bearings, a garett GT2871r, Plazmaman plenum, spitfire coils, Power FC, Hks Oil cooler, and the list goes on!

aaannnd that custom Asahi 3ltr catch can, god damn son!

The sedan is put on the ground thanks to Kei Office coilovers in the front and Hks r33 front coilovers in the rear! Sean converted it to NA gear so he can run this set of 15x7.5 and 15x8.5 ssr mk1s.

Cant wait till he gets this bad boy out on track!!

I have to tip my hat to Sean though, if it wasn't people like this guy... we would live in a fucking boring car world!

GOOD FRIDAY NIGHT DRIFTS - PART ONE

Back on the coast last weeks means I got to head up to last Friday night session at QR.

Being good Friday and a public holiday we anticipating that it would be a super busy night, so we left super early at 3pm to make sure Troy could get a bay and to try save some next to us for mates!

The big plus for getting out there earlier was having some sun light!

Really love how this shot turned out.. and have to say this would have been my favourite car of the arvo / night!

Was great to catch up with a heap of people I hadn't seen for the months I have been away!

Ryan Cummings had both his Silvia and 180sx out on the day.

Both these things are fucking killer!

Jackson has built a new Silvia since I had been gone... so this was my first time seeing this beauty!

unfortunately he run into some wiring issues on the night, hopefully its not to bad and he gets it back out to the next session.

Full moon and fresh skid wheels... sums up the night.

A mate, of a mate had his s13 out, with a 25/30 making over 500HP!!!!

and yep, I have a bake photo from the night to come!!!

I really liked this BMW.. looks like a lot of time has gone into the build.

I believe it was running a RB20 or 25 as well.

Last but not least Pat had is S15 out running a new look.. I think it looks hundred times better then it used!

NICE WORK CHAMP!

More to come tomorrow and probably the next day as well, so make sure to come back and check out our coverage of last Friday night session at QR.

Thanks, Streetkarnage.

DRIFT MATSURI - TAKE THREE

Continuing on with Saturday of Matsuri coverage.... Between driving, fixing, and sitting in the shade, I didn't get a chance to get around to many other corners to watch apart from the corner we had camped up at.... so most my drifting photos will be from turn 6!

Sherman's epicily awesome R32 4 door is always a pleasure to watch.. nothing but perfection from the car and driver over the weekend!!!

Troy in his freshly finished 180sx.. This was Troy's first time on track also and well, the first time really drifting this car as well.. well apart from some midnight runs! He went great all weekend, watching him improve over the weekend was great!!

This ute was a favourite of mine.. looked like a handful to steer, had no idea what was in it but it baked hard.. was fun to watch!!

Macey's S14 was another amazing one to watch.. looked amazing out there with the fresh lick of paint, it received not long ago!!!

One you would remember for our first matsuri post.. Kyle's R31

This car all weekend made me wish I was running my 10"s on the back so bad... constantly looked the goods!!!

Here we have Jeffers onevia, you may recognise from a post I made on here a while back... or the features on Freeworks or even Speedhunters!!
Such a cool car, it was purchased with the intentions of drifting it in Japan, but then deciding to import it into aus instead.. I'm very happy this is in Australia!!

More to come!!

Thanks, Streetkarnage!
