DS NOVEMBER MEET

Last Sunday while most of us Streetkarnage guys where at Eurofest in Sydney, the Downshift November meet was on at Rocklea.... Like always a massive turn out, but from what I have seen, the quality is lacking massively.. and the fact that numbers are getting more important than how cool the cars are, is not a good thing in my books!

Mitch Rowe was out and about with his camera and snapped some shots for us to share... enjoy!

Aerron's R34 sedan got a outing and from what I have seen on the net, errrrrybody liked it.

Always great to see the HAHA golf out that's owned by Rose and Tony.

JAMBOREE 21 - PART TWO

Here is the last of our 2011 Jamboree 21 coverage!!

Trent, Matyi and Rory having a good old yarn and catch up!!

Really dig'd this thing.. the sound of it was intense... unfortunately I didn't get to see it run though!!

Emilio tried to get some spic angle on his seat.. and arghhh had a little accident!! hahahaha 

The seat was then put into retirement for the rest of the day!

The wind picked up so much on the day, that we even dropped the tent down to its lowest height to try stop it from blowing away.. haha.. that didn't end up working and it ended up getting pulled down a bit later!

As you would have seen in the photos before.. The FFamily guys removed there bonnets, which later become a problem with the wind getting a little insane.. so they all went back on.. then come off again... haha.. Ash and Emilio's ended up in the boot of the wagon for the last few hours of the day. haha

Out of the "show cars" at the event this was my favourite.. I have always had a soft spot for this model c class merc.. and this has had some tasteful mods... only thing I didn't like was the white walls.. lose them and you got our approval!!!

Overall the day was great.. plenty of good people and good cars!!

Thanks to Downshift for inviting us along with there stand.. maybe next year we can do a colab stand and show everyone how its done!!

FREEWORKS MK3

We caught up Hughesy of Freeworks at the Downshift birthday cruise, and decided I was going to take a closer look at his super cool MK3

If you have been in the car scene in south east qld for the last year, you would have seen this golf kicking around at nearly every event, meet, and show.

This being his grocery getter he couldn't go completely wild with the fitment, so a set of 15x8 +25 Sportmaxx meshies where fitted up and also recently just installing a set of brand new coilovers, to bring that ride height down to a nice height.

Also would like to announce we are doing a collaboration with Freeworks, and holding our own private meet later this month.. this will be invite only!

2011 POWERPLAY TAKE 2

As you all would have seen earlier this week from Byron's post.. us SK chaps headed out to powerplay last weekend!

The day started very early for us but even earlier for Alex being the driver... have to say a massive thanks to that man for driving all of us up.. much <3
