THE ESSKAY AUTO SHOP WAGON

Some may know my merc wagon from the post just after the first SKxFW meet.. haven't done much more with it apart from taking it on a drive every once in a while... and sitting out the front my house and staring at its beauty. 

I am setting off overseas for a while in a couple of weeks and wont have room to store this beast of a car, so unfortunately I have to put it up for sale!!!

Byron come around a week or two ago and we went to a local spot to do a shoot on it.. we will be keeping those photos on lock down, for the possibility it may get a feature on one of the big dog blogs... but for now here is a teaser shot of the car just out side my house on sunset!!

THAT BLOODY MERC

If you remember the post from Monday you would know the disaster that happened to me.. Jason, Josh and myself were stuck on the side of gateway motorway with a flat tyre and battery!!

I called some of the peeps that where at the meet to see if anybody could lend a hand.. within 10mins 6 cars pulled up and everybody jumped out to see what happened and to help

It would have been a site to see for the people that drove past!

But I have to say.. fuck it looks tuff here!!

The tyre that caused the trouble :(

I had a spare in the car but was kinda flat.. we chucked it on and tried to get to the servo to fill it up... this failed miserly, with only getting 100m up the road before it blew out! 

and this is the spare.. we borrowed from a council mobile light, to get me home!

ALL ROUND

Update on the Merc!

I had a visit from Alex and Harris on Saturday... and...

SHIT. GOT. DONE.

As the photos show.. I have all the wheels mounted up now, Plus the front lowered to a height that will be sure to destroy my sump.. Its at about 30mm (haha) so going to make up a bash plate to try to save it!

After a test drive down the street, I still need to do some more guard work!

Starting to come together now!

THE NEW

Well I have started a new project, Its a 1980 Mercedes Benz 280 TE Wagon!

I'm still very under sided on the direction this will go in.. but I have made one step closer and decided on a what colour it will be going though :P

I wasn't going to post anything about this one till some progress had started, but Byron come around on the weekend and took this wicked snap of it..!!

I like to see people looking out of the box when it comes to modifying cars... we live in a world now where it is hard to do anything original.!

So here we have Keenan's satin blacked 240 Diesel... I have been watching this on StanceWorks over the last few months after José posted a few photos of it up on R32Taka.

Running Chrome 15" Allied circle track wheels with 195s stretching over the massive 10" rims with a 3" backspacing.

 Static dropped and sitting low with a 2 finger gap!!

Massive props to Keenan for doing something a little different...!!

Looking forward to seeing what else you do with it mate.
